Just a quick update to let you know that we’re all still alive down here on the Gulf Coast!
The move went incredibly well. Grandma and Grandpa Heinrich and Mom and Dad Tuffs were able to visit us during the move, and helped out tremendously. We couldn’t have gotten so much done, especially in preparing the house (painting, carpet cleaning, etc.), without their help. And when the big moving day came, we were able to get the entire apartment moved in less than an hour and a half thanks to the help of a good-sized group of great friends!
Now we’re settled in, and we can hardly believe the summer is almost over! Melissa’s becoming more interactive; her new thing is helping Mommy take the laundry out of the dryer. She also does a good job at picking up her toys, though it does take a little prompting to get her to do it. She can be quite a ham at times, as you can see in the Picture of the Week.
